the property and us
This 25-acre property is named after the three streams flowing through the land. The family home is the original Three Streams homested, which once included much of the surrounding land.
Three Streams has taken many forms over the years, including a dairy farm, piggery, goat farm and even raising rabbits in the back barn.
We’ve been here now for over 4 years; when we first viewed the property we instantly fell in love with the amazing streams, waterfall, ponds, native bush, lush green paddocks, and lovely family home.
We had a dream of finding the perfect property for our boys to roam and explore nature, to grow our own fruit and veges and room for chooks, yet be close to Raglan town - and we found that all here!
Our family of four includes two boys, who love the farm life, climbing trees, searching the paddocks for field mushrooms, building huts and especially feeding the many eels in our streams.
We are passionate about looking after our environment, caring for our animals and improving our property which we feel very privledged to own.
At present we have a small herd of cattle, chickens, a Jack Russel (Rusty), and a very friendly cat (Mooch).
The Studio was once old stables, which we converted to accommodation in 2018 and Blackwood cabin is our newest addition, built bespoke off site in 2021. This truly is a slice of paradise and we are very happy to share this amazing part of the country with you.
